On Thursday 5th of December 2019 the intermediate went on a trip to paihia's action world for a end of year trip, it was fun and cool my favourite activity's were the fighting log because got to hit each other in to the inflatable void and the water slide was cool as well because it cooled us off after we got really hot fighting.

We have been learning to write explanations.

We have been writing about our environment and pollution (air, soil, water). We

have learned about global warming and plastic. We have written

to explain the problem and how we can solve the problem.





The Three Different Pollution





Pollution is the world's biggest threat right now. It can cause disease, death and even natural disasters. Pollution is caused by our society's carelessness, they throw their waste and plastic into our waters and expect no consequences. But if we reduce our plastic we can save some creatures and people.





Air Pollution





Air pollution is by far the most dangerous pollution. Air pollution is caused by smoke carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, organic compounds, harmful chemicals and many more. The smoke that cause air pollution are from big work buildings. To help stop the death and decay from air pollution we must stop using our automobiles because they produce harmful chemicals and if we use bikes or run our society would get fit and get more sunlight and we must stop using all tools ovens fireplaces that produce harmful chemicals.





Water Pollution





Water pollution is another every dangerous pollution. This type of pollution is caused by lazy people that can't be bothered going to a bin so they used the ocean as a bin. When people use the beautiful ocean as a bin, turtles get the idea of “hmm i'm hungry ooh look yummy white jellyfish (eats) its kinda tasteless oh au yuck (chocks) bleh” and it dies because plastic looks like jellyfish in water. To stop water pollution you could reduce your plastic usage and NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES THROW YOUR GARBAGE IN THE OCEAN!!!! so use a bin.

Sisters. Amsterdam has 1281 bridges. Saint martins is very
close to the beach. When it flies in, people stand under it. That's very dangerous.

When im older i would love to, visit Europe and Netherlands because
it sounds exciting. I would visit Saint Martins and the biggest pub in Europe
The Three Sisters.

Maui and The Giant Fish

When maui wanted go fishing his brothers, declined so he waited till his brothers came back.

When maui's brothers came back, he asked them if he can come to get some of tangaroa's fish but his brothers said no.

When they said that it angered maui, so he hid in the frame next to the bower under the waka.

While maui waited for sun rise, he put a constraint on his line.

While maui hid in the canoe, his brothers fished.

When it hit morning his brothers came out to fish.

When maui jumped out, it frightened his brothers so he did his karakia for the hooks.

When it became maui's turn to fish, he made his nose bleed and put the gore on his jaw he got from his founder.

When he fished he pulled up a giant fish that towered over the waka.

When maui went go get the people, his brothers chopped up the crevasses and carved out the mountains of aotearoa.

While 100s of years past, it became the north island.

I see rough foamy waves when i took this photo

I hear the crashing of the waves on the beach.

I think the broken driftwood will smash and break on the pointy rocks.

I feel cold and shivery when in the freezing howling wind.

I wonder if the stormy weather will change the small sandy beach.
